  • Ashok Benjamin Attumaly

    Benjamin is the Chairman of the Board of Jwala Bioenergy. A mechanial engineer from IIT Delhi, he has over a decade of experience in the shipping and energy industry.

Project Team in India

  • Cdr. Subodh Rao

    Head of Projects
    Cdr. Subodh Rao (Retd, IN) joined Jwala Bioenergy India as its Head of Projects with effect from 1st July 2024. He is a Military Veteran, who comes with 14 years of experience in overseeing large scale ship-building/ ship repair projects for the Indian Navy. Post his retirement from active service in Aug 2022, he had a brief stint with Morgan Stanley as a Program Manager in their Wealth Management division.

  • Darshpreet Singh

    Community Engagement Manager
    Darshpreet Singh leads our engagement with RGR Cell and works closely with the local communities in the vicinity of our project. A literature graduate, Darshpreet is passionate about the environment and the cause of livelihood improvement of farmers. Darshpreet tours extensively in the villages educating farmers about sustainable practices, preventing stubbble burning and ensuring timely collection of paddy straw.

  • Priyaranjan Sinha

    Senior Business Developer (part-time)
    Priyaranjan Sinha comes with more than 20 years of business development experience in the renewable segment. He was an early pioneer of microgrid projects, working on impactful projects to bring electricity in remote regions of India. He leads the business development activities of the company – expanding our footprint of projects.
